New Computer

As the basis of a low end system (case, mobo, PSU (300W I believe)) it seems a pretty good deal.

However, as its a B-Grade, so if the mobo or PSU (two of the most important components) develop a fault - you cannot get it fixed by OCUK/ASUS because it does not come with a warranty. If you are happy to take the risk knowing this - then it remains a good deal.

If you want the increased piece of mind that comes with a warranty, find a barebones in the main section or assemble a system from budget components.

Thanks for the replies so far, couldn't reply due to been at work all day.

The warranty sounds like it would be an issue.

Any ideas on a spec without the barebones unit?

Thanks for your help

How does this look?

If you REALLY need to save the cash, you could go for one of these boards (excluding the DFI) and no graphics card. It will save some money, but I wouldn't recommend it. It is almost always better to get a discrete graphics card and a good motherboard.
