i need help with choosing a new MB

im abit picky about what i want it to have

im looking at a PHENOM II X4 810 AM3 2.60GHZ 4MB CACHE

and i all so want SLI 3 way 2way if need be
ddr3

im setting it up for a gaming rig so ane opinion is welcome

i have 100 pounds to spend on each part other then cpu im putting 160 towards unless otherwise ?

remove the competitor link & ocuk has it for £24 cheaper anyway!
or if your smart you could get the AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz for £4more :/

Also there is only am3 with drr3 sli mobo at the moment & thats the " MSI NF750-G55 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI " your far better of going for a ddr2 mobo with sli support eg Asus M3N72-T Deluxe nForce 780a SLi
 
On the plus side, DDR3 has higher bandwidth than DDR2 (though at the cost of increased latency). DDR3 also consumes less power than DDR2.

DDR2 has price on its side (though I think the difference is minimal these days?), as well as the lower latency mentioned above.

All things being equal, I'd choose DDR3 over DDR2; but, if you have other reasons to prefer DDR2, then you might as well go for it. :)
