I am building a computer for my friend once Nvidia releases there new CPU's and GPU's.
He is spending £1850 MAX on it, uses it to play many games and he also does lots of 3dsmax, rendering and runs game engines etc.
Would he be best with the new Ivy Bridge? Or should I put the new 6 core in?
Would 2 SSD's in RAID be better than 2 working independently? (please state which RAID to put them in as well)
I know what GPU I am planning to put into it (680), the motherboard will be a high end ASUS which supports SLI etc, the PSU will be >1000W, RAM will be 16Gbytes, putting in a 500Gb HD (WD most likely) and he has got a 1Tb as well to go in. I am also trying to persuade he to allow to Overclock once it is running nice and stable
Any suggestions for any improvements but please answer the questions at the top first please
