New Config

Hi all,

My current set up is:

ICH8R / ICH9R with

Samsung HD321KJ (320gb)
WDC WD3200AAKS-75VYA (320gb) (boot drive)
WDC WD2500JD-00HBB0 (250gb)
ST3250620AS (250gb)

I was thinking of getting a 1tb drive and then putting it like:

Raid 0 boot drive:

Samsung HD321KJ (320gb)
WDC WD3200AAKS-75VYA (320gb)
__
Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB for storage
ST3250620AS (250gb) for backups


What do you think?

if it's just for storage mate

consider a WD GreenPower, got one recently for my Media Centre, nice and quiet

it's about half the loudness of the F1 (which is damn quiet already, i own both)

mine was £70 delivered
