So I am looking out for a cheap new contact. I don't use many minutes or texts really so the t-mobile flext looks like it would be pretty good. Can get Flext 20 which gives me up to 170mins or 340 texts or a mix of the 2 for £20 a month. But they have an offer on just now which means I get it for £15 a month for the whole contract (18 months). Also looking to get a Samsung U600 with it, which is free. Opinions on this? Good deal? Good phone? Anyone think I can get anything better?

Oh and does anyone know if it will actually be £15 a month? I was previously on £35 a month with orange but it always inexplicably came out as about £40-£45 a month despite me not using anywhere near my allowance. Don't know why I think it was possibly something to do with VAT. Would prefer it to be a flat £15 unless I go over my allowance. And does anyone know if delivery reciepts for text messages are included or will cost extra? and if so how much?

I am currently on orange PAYG and will be looking to keep my number. I assume its just a case of requesting a PAC code and giving them it to transfer over. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Ie does the number transfer over straight away when I give T-mobile the code or will I be without a phone for a couple of days whilst everything gets updated?

Any advice would be great.

Cheers

Three have a great deal on this weekend. £20 for a mix of 1100 minutes/texts. Plus you get £80 cashback via Quidco.

The free phones aren't amazing, but they're fine for the price.

Yeah i saw that, but I would never use that much mins and texts and i quite fancy the Samsung, which they don't do. I've got a K800i just now so with the phones on offer I'd probably be better getting a sim only deal from somewhere.

Thanks anyway though.

Sorry my mistake, its the G600 I am after. Seems to get pretty good reviews and doesn't have the tough sensitive buttons (I hate those, my girlfriend has an older samsung and I'm forever calling people by accident when using the phone). Is this a better phone then yeah?
