New Controller needed- xbox still the vanilla choice?

Always preferred the Playstation controller to Xbox, bought reWASD for like £6 and it just works (yeh I know there is free alternatives).

Can't go wrong with an MS xbox series x pad, IMO.. it just works really well. £40 on the rainforrest at the moment.

You can use it via bluetooth, but not it's officially supported, so you will get no help with it from 8bitdo if you have issues.

Basically:
2.4Ghz and USB= Xinput and works just like an Xbox controller.
Bluetooth=Switch pro controller, so you need Steam to help you out with making it work on games.

There is a beta firmware that lets you use xinput in bluetooth, but it's not made it to the main firmware yet.

It comes with the 2.4ghz dongle and the dongle can live inside the charging dock.

i just ordered a vader 3 pro( to try it out), got the option of brook if go to an xbox console

Been using a wired 360 pad for years. I replaced the thumb sticks when they wore out. The wireless 360 pads are also great.

Using reWASD and a reflashed Stadia controller. Plays everything I have tried last 8 months.

Here's hoping the next range of Xbox/PC controllers have Hall Effect sticks, otherwise I won't be buying any.

have to say been using this vader pro 3 for a while now, and what a piece of kit for around 40quid imported, its a steal,

its best controller ive had, thats inc the elite, build quality is first class, which is surprising for such small price, it just feels right in the hand and responsive i know it can be bought in uk, but for silly price, got it from that well know china place
