New CPU and Motherboard....Do I need to format?

Now then,

I took the plunge and ordered a new MoBo, CPU and GPU and I should be receiving it in a few hours, I'm just a bit confused as to whether or not a full format/reinstall of windows is going to be on the cards or can I just go into device manager and delete a bunch of drivers?

I've had a google around and there seems to be a conflict of opinion out there so thought I'd check with you guys first!

I've got a couple of SSD/HDD, reckon I'd be best just connecting my main SSD for the first boot so it doesn't confuse it?
