Clearing the BIOS would reset the time, just go back in to the BIOS settings page and correct the details.

As for the internet, a reboot might sort that. Had a similar thing the other day.

Yeh I figured the BIOS might reset the time.

But I've rebooted a few times and Windows still can't search for updates or sync the time?

I think problem has been solved.

I disabled the Lan Controller in the BIOS, booted into Windows, rebooted back into BIOS enabled Lan Controller and I think everything is fine.

EDIT: Got this back now - (Though I've still lost the Network icon next to the clock)

Just a big thanks to everyone in this thread that tried to help.

Nothing worked in the end so looks like I'll have to sell the chip!

I'm knackered now after installing/removing CPU's, RAM etc!
