new cpu cooler

i know this has been raised many many times but as im new here ill start another one.
what is the best cpu cooler to buy ?
so many ppl recommened so many cooler's and im a bit confused as to which one to get.
money is no problem really as i think a good cooler is very important.
my mobo is a ds3 and the cpu is a conroe 6600 2.4
it idles atm at 27 with a intel stock cooler.
size is no issue as ive got a p190.
any idea's please ppl would be great.
btw....i dont want push clips things like i had on my freezer pro 7,i want the fan to be solid and need a cpu cooler that has screw's or thumbsrews.

are you going to overclock?

27C idle is a good temp mate!

Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with a fan or your choice or a Tuniq Tower are regarded as the best.

im not going to overclock,my system is running superb and dont really want to overclock and shorten the life of my chip.

go with the Thermalright Ultra-120A and something like the Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000.

SOUNDS GOOD TO ME,IVE GOT A SHARKOON 2000 SITTING HERE DOING NOTHING AT THE MOMENT SO ILL GO FOR THAT COOLER THEN.....MANY THANKS FOR THE REPLYS GUYS.
