New CPU Fresh Install Needed?

Hi I Just did a order for new CPU being my other one broke down and would love to know if a fresh win7 install will be needed.

Nope - you won't need to reinstall windows.

Just make sure that the settings in the BIOS are reset to defaults (CMOS reset is a good idea).

Hi my new CPU just arrived if I take the old one out put it back in and the PC works is there a high chance the CPU will break again anyway at some point.

Very rare for a cpu to die unless pushed far too far.

Did changing the cpu fix the problem?
