i would go to F51 not the older bios.

try 1 stick ram and boot up with 3700X. if no avail start RMA with AMD.

I would install F32 first followed by F40 then F51

Is that not for memory issues when using more than 2 sticks?

Are you getting any debug errors? It sounds more like a dead cpu to me.

the plugged in USB header - is that for bluetooth on the wifi card ? My Asus and another Gigabyte one had a USB internal header to USB internal header cable for the bluetooth module.

no one could figure out why the CPU wasnt working, but i upgraded my board (which brought a few new problems hah) and its working fine now - thank you.
