New CPU issue?

Hey guys,

as mentioned in a previous post, I have upgraded my GPU to a 2080s which should arrive tomorrow.

I also said **** it and decided to get a 9900k as I wont be upgrading CPU / platform for a while..

I have installed it in my rig..

All is great, temps are great, seems stable enough (waiting till my 2080s before I unleash the testign on it ).

I just noticed in AfterBurner though is something strange with the CPU Clock speeds..

why is my clock speeds not stepping down, all 16 threads are the same ?

Is this normal? Or possibly a setting? As everything else seems to "fit" so..im a little miffed!

I tried changing the power setttings for the CPU Power consumption, to a minimum of 5%. Still no change

I had this same problem with my 9400f, for me the fix was installing the chipset driver. It may have been random fix or just a coincidence it started working but just throwing it up just incase
