I have some spare cash, and have finally decided to upgrade my AMD 2800+
It's for gaming and I'm not interested in overclocking it. (paranoid I'll kill it).

Budget of £600

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4600+ ?
A Motherboard, 2GB Memory and GFX card.
I'll probably want to add a second GFX card at some point.

I have a 460w Akasa PSU and a Gigabyte CPU Cooler are both ok, or do I need to replace them ?

Cheers.

How about...

CPU - Intel Core 2 DUO E6400 OEM (CP-137-IN) £160.92

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (MB-061-GI) £105.69

Mem - GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 800MHz (MY-058-GL) £146.82

Gfx - Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 (GX-047-CO) £211.44

Total £624.87

couple more Questions

I need a new cooler for around £25.
I know i went over my "budget", but I was originally only going to spend £500.
And after reading a little about XP64, is it best to wait until more programs are updated ?
I'm mostly concerned with Sygate Firewall, Trend Micro AntiSpyware and Yanicsoft WinXP Manager.

Soon as I have answers I can order :)
