New CPU - need help with motherboard

Hi guys!

This is my motherboard:

Whats the best processor OC sells at the moment that will fit into that, if any.

From what I can see it says:

Supports socket AM3 45nm AMD Phenom™ II series processors

So am I limited to that only?

Should I be thinking about a new motherboard and new CPU?

I think it would be more worthwhile to save your pennys and get a Intel setup or wait for next generation AMD and get a new motherboard + CPU if it turns out alright.

Okay thanks for the help.

I'm getting the feeling I may as well just buy a new system in a years time, and just stop upgrading my pc.

It's about 3-4 years old now. Time to move on...
