New CPU not working, Please Help!!!!

Evening Everyone,

I have just received my new Ryzen 7 3800XT from Overclockers today (replacing Ryzen 5 1400) and went to install it.

Ive updated the BIOS for the new CPU, when this was completed i installed the new CPU and it booted fine, i had to turn of my PC to put a couple of screws back into the MOBO, now its not booting, Im getting fan spin on the heat sync, case and GPU also im getting the clicking from the extra HDD i have but I'm not getting anything on my monitor or my keyboard and mouse but when i install the old CPU my PC works fine. Im at a loss on what is wrong with it.

Clear CMOS,
Re-updated BIOS,
Unpluged everything and reseated it.

Specs (currently with old CPU)
Ryzen 5 1400 (replacing with Ryzen 7 3800XT)
MSI X470 Gaming Plus MB
Corsair 3000mhz RAM 16GB
Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
Samsung 256GB SSD

Why didn't you put ALL screws in mobo before seating the cpu?

One of the is under the GPU and another one is under the CPU power cable and i wanted to make sure it was working before i put the all back in to save time if i had to remove the mobo again.

Have you tried to Reset bios to optimised defaults? In case you had tweaked anything which is making it unstable with new cpu?

Considering the fault only occurred when putting those screws back in I would take them out and check, maybe something is shorting?

Dont worry, i've been able to fix it.

I seemed to be a combination of a poorly running heat sync and a faulty stick of RAM.
