New CPU, RAM and motherboard.

Just bought a 780 ti to go with my PC. CPU is a bit old though (i5 760) so thinking I should go for a new motherboard, RAM and CPU.

So what i7, motherboard and RAM (16GB) should I go for? What's the best air cooler? I'd like to overclock it.

I currently have a Corsair TX 650 W PSU from 2010. Will this be fine?

I don't have a budget in mind, I want something good. I don't want to pay extortionate amounts though :D.

Thanks!

Says the person who bought a gtx780ti :p

Is there a particular reason you want the sabertooth mobo? I don't have personal experience with it(tho I have the Maximus vi formula which has a similar 'bulletproof vest', wishing I hadn't bought it) but big air coolers may have trouble fitting due to the large heat sinks around the CPU socket(I'm currently using the intel stock cooler but will be going watercooling so can't comment if that the case on my mobo).

Is the PC mainly for PC or will you be using it for tasks that'll make use of lots of ram? If it's mainly gaming then you don't need 16gb, also unless you plan on going sli in the future(for which you'll need to upgrade the psu) or use programs that'll make use of hyper threading you'd be better off going for the 4670k

Someone recommended the saber tooth to me. What's the difference between a good motherboard around 120 to a premium 200+ one?

I use the PC for games and films. 16gb seems safe for the next four or so years. I last upgraded in 2010. Before that, 2005!

8GB will be safe for a while yet, for games and films you won't need anything more.

I can't recommend the Sabertooth over the Gigabyte. It would be silly to do so!

Looking at the Gigabyte boards, seems the more expensive ones allow 3 gpus or more. Having 2x PCI-e x16 would be enough. I'd never have more than 2!
