DON'T start on public servers, it is by far and away the worst way of getting better.

Find deathmatch servers and play on there. This will help you improve your aim.

As for a team find any low skilled to start off with just to get the basics and when you feel like its too easy move upto mid. The more you play aaginst better players the faster you will improve. Dont spend time playing in a team against players that are easy, this isn't effective.

Gamesense, which is just predicting enemy movements and location as well as nade throwing etc will come to you in time but it does take a couple years to really get at a high competitive level, so dont expect it over night.

Yea it is. I used it as an upgrade to my flashed 9800xt. It's quite a lot faster, x800s came first, then x1800, then x1900 and the x1950

Last card before Pci-e maybe?
 
sweet man, are you not back at uni now ? meaning it will be a nightmare to get it off ya.
