New CTR for me!

I was in the same boat, I liked the front, liked the side, the back put me off.

It still does to an extent but the black blends it together nicely.

Saw one today and from the front and sides it looked fantastic, certainly an improvement over the older outgoing model.

However the rear-end, what were they thinking? Whats with the stupid mid-height spoiler and it just don't look right, such a shame as it could have been a looker of a car otherwise.

Still its a nice motor so do enjoy it. :)

I've even priced one up using the "Build a Honda" thinngy on their website... I specced up a Type R GT to £23,500 (DVD Sat-Nav, Rear Camera, 19" Alloys, Speakers UG etc...) :eek: The wife told me not to be so silly! :(

The speaker upgrade is rubbish apparently, the wheels are scarily priced as is the sat nav. My previous model had the honda sat nav/hft built in but it was included in the trim level, for £1400 I'd not touch it, get a decent PDA or Tomtom with a Parrot kit.

As for the rear camera... this is my second new shape civic and I've not reversed in to anything ;)
 
The rear looks rather... odd. Then again, i've always thought that since they release the photo's of the new CTR.

How are you finding the dash/instruments? It looks a bit randomly placed and hard to get used to...

I also did a Spec without those toy's (kept the Bluetooth thinngy for my phone) £19,500ish... Wife still Laughed at me! :( (I've gone off her at the mo!!)

She's not much Saner though!... Wants a New Shape CR-V (we had a 53 plate previous model!) with loads of toys £28,000 and she can't drive!... :rolleyes:

Must Win the Lotto tomorrow... then I can have a CTR-GT and the CR-V :D

Easy but like I said, been driving a new shape for 6 months already.

On the left is stereo/climate (all auto if you wish and dual), on the right is VSA (traction control) and beam adjusting. Steering wheel is stereo controls and cruise with a selection button for the computer.

Really easy when you get used to it.
 
mm that stereo looks awfully integrated into the dash, could just be the pics though. Any chance of being able to fit an aftermarket unit? :/

I looked at one last weekend and it looked alright, other half said it was way too chavvy though! Step dad is testing one next weekend as a "cheap" alternative for a next car, oh how the other half live :(

Saw one pulling away from the lights today, bouncing off the limiter in 1st and 2nd. Sounded awesome :cool: :D

Pity they look like more like an iron than a car. :(
 
Front - NICE
Side - NICE
Rear - YUK
Interior dash - YUK

Love the digital dash :cool: :cool:

On a rating of 1-10 for looks id give that car a 6/10 :)
 
Very nice, hope you enjoy it mate. Ive just brought a '04 CTR. Loving it atm.

My Dads had the new CTR on order for a while now, delayed as hes going for the Sat Nav and the 19" Rims.

Looks good in black & I am warming to the looks I must admit, although the back is just wrong somehow.

Love the interior as well.

Saw one in red today on the road. I thought, 'what a great looking car', when looking at it in my mirrors, then it went past me & I saw the back end.... :( Maybe it'll grow on me in time, interior looks like a nice place to be, enjoy it :)
