Hi,

Paid £8 for 4x501 Frosted Blue LEDs and they were dead simple to fit, honestly took me about 15 mins.

Probably not to everyones taste but im very chuffed with the result.. they look a bit brighter on the picture than they actually are due to shutter speed i used and things.. so dont think they would dazzel you because they really do not.

What colour were they to start with?

Wish i took a 'before' picture, got a bit eager... doh. They were a very dull whitish/orange colour.. looked very depressing lol. One bulb had blown and i couldn't see my speedo.

lmao, i think i rolled it up in my tent..

The blue looks nice but it seems to be brighter in some parts than it does in others, I guess thats where the leds are situated. Is that how it looks in the flesh or is it the photo making it appear worse?

The picture makes it look much more brighter in some parts, but it is slightly more brighter closer to where the LEDs are situated obviously.. the LEDs i have used are frosted and scatter the light much better than standard LEDs which most people use though. There are also wide spread LEDs available which are ment to be good for this kind of thing, but they are quite large and i wasnt sure if they would fit in the factory holes...

Looks good, are the needles still red?

I was tempted by some lectroluminiscent Dials but then decided i have better ways to spend £90 at the moment :)
