According to this weeks Famitsu capcom are doing a version of DR for the Wii, it doesn't give much info apart from i think its out this year. Be interesting to see how this goes, will it be a port or some kind of on rail shooter? Or a zombie minigame collection?

After seeing the Spore game I don't expect anything other than a zombie creator/sim.

It'll probably be called Zombiez

It says it has RE4 like controls !!! :D :D :D

Played the demo on the 360 but never liked the aiming, that should fix it.

but the graphics....

the wii wont be able to generate the kind of random things that loads and loads of individual zombies can do

dead rising 2 please capcom

mmm blocky catalina :o

You mean Catamiina?

DR was about the graphics and sheer chaos and ability to roam freely destroying them zombies - loads and loads of zombie. How the Wii will be able to handle that would keep me interested in this game for the Wii.

I can see how the Wii controls be fun for this game tho :)

if this uses the new 1:1 control system it could be awesome fun bowling the balls like real life and throwing the frisbies etc.

God they have tried so hard to make it look like there are loads of zombies in those shots when there are actually about 8. I just can't see anything good coming from this at all and they are already chopping out features like the photography. As much as I love the Wii when games are done right I don't think motion controls can save this one.

Couldn't care less what it looks like, has potential too be a great game even after playing the original

Doesn't look too bad. For some reason I keep seeing it as a jerk fest though. Capcom really need to optimise that title heavily to get it right.

A game is not solely good or bad just based on visuals... just because it doesnt look as good as the xbox doesnt mean its rubbish.

The controls are a big part of the game too and if it like resi evil thats good.

It shows how fanboy ish some people are when they slate a game based on a few screenshots.

Will wait for hands on previews and reviews before passing judgement. Im just glad its released on a platform other than Xbox.

They've tried to keep the quality of the game up and it shows, as the number of zombies is doooooown. So you can argue until the cows come home that graphics do not matter, but in this case they've sacrificed zombie count (as far as you can tell from the screens) for visual quality, thus ruining gameplay in favour of graphics.

Of course this is all based on a handful of screenshots. I reserve final judgement until any screens of the car park are released- that will show us if they can pull off hundreds of zombies at once.
