New Desktop Gaming Rig - TITAN with Skyrim Modded Screenshots

UPDATE: Added a couple more pics of the system and some more high res screenshots.

Hi guys.. this is a bit of a self-serving ego boost but I just wanted to show off my new PC (as my girlfriend isn't that excited about it for some reason  and there is no one else around right now)

It's a Titan 475i Rapier (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-354-OE) with:

- Intel i5 4670K @ 4.5Ghz with a K2 Mount Doom CPU cooler
- 8GB Team Group Vulcan Orange 2133MHz RAM
- Samsung 840 Series 250GB SSD
- Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
- KFA2 Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB
- Corsair Enthusiast 850W Power Supply

Here is a pic (sorry for the slight blur) with the 3 new blue LED fans added. It gives off a nice glow at night.

And here showing off the green LED strips I had added

And here is the fan controller I recently added

It runs everything I can throw at it on ultra/highest settings, including Crysis, Witcher 2 (with ubersampling on), GTA 4 (with iCEnhancer 2.1)

..and Skyrim with ENB v0119, seen below:

And some more screenshots of Skyrim with mods:

So yeah, that's my new PC which I am very pleased with, bearing in mind I have come from a 4 year old gaming laptop that had an ATI Radeon 4850m with 512mb vRam

very nice, how are the green LED's powered?

They are powered straight from the power supply (using a 4-pin connector I think) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-043-BX

Why no build yourself!

Looks good however, enjoy :)

Well the main reason for me is time, as in I don't have enough of it with work etc . It didn't cost much more than buying components individually and building, and also there is always the risk of components being DOA (my friend had this issue not long back).

Plus I've been a laptop man for most of my life so I don't have a great amount of experience with desktops (which will change now!)

It's nice being able to run games at settings which would have previously caused my laptop to thermal shutdown! :p

Just got 2 Antec Twocool Blue 140mm Fans to go in the top of the case so will upload a pic of them later. More LEDs!

I tried to explain to my girlfriend how this PC would save us money.. as it is so bright we don't need to have any lights on in the living room  hence saving electricity...

:( she didn't buy it

I built my wife a PC got all the hardware from OcUK...even though she said she didnt want or need a new one......now shes never off it lol

Looks like a nicely built system, what temps you getting at 4.5ghz in Prime95/Aida64/games?:)

Haven't checked temps in Prime95 yet, but in games, the CPU doesn't go much above the 60c mark, and it idles around 30c (although slightly higher in the hotter weather as my living room gets very warm).

It's a great PC :) and I'm pleasantly surprised with Windows 8. It starts up in around 10 seconds (a couple of those seconds are the bios splash screen) and shuts down in under 5. Which is much much quicker than Windows 7.

Also (after having an ATI graphics card for 4 years) I am amazed by how much better the Nvidia driver and software package is compared to AMD. I was even more amazed that it updated the graphics driver with one click of a button, within the Nvidia program - no need to find and download the correct version from the website, then uninstall the old one (sometimes requiring other software to ensure it is actually removed), then installing the new one.

I'll upload a couple more pics when I have put the extra fan in later :p
