Do you know if connection uptime works correctly now and that disconnections and reconnections are logged properly?

i'm using UberGT firmware on my DG834GT, never had a problem, give me a good reason why i should use DGTeam firmware?

Why give you a reason? if you are happy with the UberGT then fair enough.

I dont think there is much between them, I went for the DG one as I felt the user interface is a little clearer.

Just upgraded mine to the latest version, the web interface seems to "run" faster.

i just ordered a netgeardg834n router will get it tomorow.
the link on the site for new firmware there is a dg834n-v1 will this work on the new router.

Same here UberGT on a DG834GT I thought UberGT stopped creating firmware as DGTeam was cracking on with it ...

Could the best have got better? I may move to an "N" series Netgear DG834PN to go with my 4965AGN wireless adapter I have in my new laptop!

If I do move I will defiantly use DGTeam firmware for it..

I have a version 3 DG834GT does this firmware work on all versions does anyone know?

So what do these custom firmwares do?

I have a 834PN and having trouble with the wireless connecting to a Playstation 3. Will this fix that?

My wireless signal is a lot stronger after adding 3rd party firmware!

Backup your config now, flash with the new 3rd party firmware and see how you get on, if it doesn't help then reflash to old firmware and put your old config back on again?

Sweet posting off my new netgear GT with 841 team firmware.

A bodge to unlock it but all sorted, is there a good site telling you how to use it all and get it setup for steam etc ?

Bump. Good question. Now that i've got my 834gt working again, i too would like to know specific settings for use on steam etc.

Anybody got the answer?

Yeah - no config needed for steam, unless you're planning on running a server.

I've just upgraded to DGTeam and I have to say the difference is phenomenal. It is unbelievably quick.
