Got a Neff integrated dishwasher.

Not had any trouble with it for 10 years, other than a leak when the wife didn't screw the salt lid back on properly a few years ago. Kitchen is on middle floor and water came into my study downstairs. Any way..

Christmas Eve dishwasher leaks. Clearly out of the front bottom seal of the door.

Cleaned up the area removing greasy build up and had no problems yesterday. Today however another leak, definitely not the door, but down by the side of of the machine.

Looking on like it's £100 to get a guy round plus parts, probably a load of new seals gaskets and replacement hoses...maybe fill level sensors.

No idea cost..but I doubt it'll be less than £200.

New dishwasher is £600 including connection and removal and disposal of the old one.

Is it worth trying to get the old faithful working again...at 10years old what next??

There no way i would get a 10 year old dishwasher repaired and specially after all them leaks you had so far...

I only replaced are 10 year old dish washer last year after it broke down (it also leaked)

Am really pleased when i do manage to get 10 years out of a kitchen appliance like a dish washer, washing machine or tumble dryer, etc

If i was you i would just replace it considering its 10 years old. I just bought a integrated bosch for £479

Check bottom spray arm for any splits or damage, also if it hits anything whilst doing it's thing it can leak externally.
Most dishwashers have some form of flood protection but this wont work for door leaks.

I also would replace it, I'd possibly try and pull all the filters out if the bottom, give everything a good clean and try it once more, but yea failing that.

10 years isn't bad, we replaced our Bosch dishwasher last year with another Bosch, as the last one was nearly 15 years old.

I dont mind replacing a dishwasher every 15 years.

Thanks all. We had a think about it, and based on the fact it was actually 11 years old + maybe a year of very light use as our house was a show home, along with the two leaks we figured we'd buy new. I pulled it out this morning and saw nothing bad, but the left hand side is where all the inlet gubbins goes...and that is where I saw another minor leak.

AO delivering next week a nice shiny new one.

The old one was semi integrated, but this is just a standalone stainless which should be fine and match the other appliances.
