Fuel will evaporate before it even hits the ground.
Todays weather will be cloudy Scattered Showers with a 85% chance of jet fuel

think they should rename the dreamliner now! so many problems, i bet airlines may be put off and opt for Airbus

but the thing designed to help find the plane can potentially cause a fire that might cause the plane to crash in the first place....some sort of causality loop created by Boeing so that they can never go bankrupt because of the dreamliner?

Boeing don't make the beacon, they use one (if it's actually Boeing that specified the transponder not the airline) made by another company AFAIK.

Has anyone been on one yet?

I've been on a Thomsons one twice now (outbound and inbound) No problems with the two flights I was on.

The engines are HUGE

Have to say the ride is amazing. Its unbelievably quiet and so smooth.

The cabin also seems much larger (which is great for someone with claustrophobia i.e. me)

And having films on a 4 hour flight was quite nice.
