New Drives time

Is it worth upgrading my VelociRaptor 150 to a SSD?

Secondly, I want a storage drive for storing and editing photo's and also watching HD Content. I am looking at 1TB drives but not sure which to get. I would prefer a WD model.

Yes, if you have the money.

WD Green/Blue, no need for a Black unless it's your OS drive.

Well I could recoup a lot of the cost from selling my drive current drive. I was more thinking if the current drives are worth the cost or if it is worth waiting till you get more MB for £.

OK cheers. Nah it will be purely for storing HD stuff. I'll probably end up buying a few more over the next few months with a view to running them in some form of an enclosure.

Just migrated from a 160gb VelociRaptor to a 64gb G.Skill SSD and i would defo recommend it to anyone! You'll be able to sell the raptor on fleabay for a decent amount once you've wiped it properly
