Ok got 2 maxtor drives in on RAID 0 usiing ata 133 with viaraid drivers.

Want to have a go and change to SATA which my mobo has 2 of the conectors. So can i just connect 2 160 mb sata drives to each conector use the F6 method to install drivers from floppy and create raid 0
and do a reinstal of xp. Is that basically how its done :rolleyes:
 
Almost - you'll need to make sure RAID is enabled in BIOS and then you'll need to go into the RAID BIOS (usually separate from normal BIOS) and create the array. Then you can install as you say. It's not hard. Which motherboard do you have?
