You may have linked the wrong bike, but the One44 you've linked to isn't an ebike?

Research the company as I'm not familiar with it, but this is a good deal.

Another thing to consider is if you require a removable battery or not, personally if a bike has an integrated battery that can't be charged away from the bike, it's a dealbreaker for me.
Why stop there then, why have limited motorbikes (50cc/125cc) etc, why not just let everyone do as they please? The whoe thing is retraded imo...
They don't sell cars locked to motorway speeds... It's not on Bosch to limit the motors....

I assume the authorities have sensibly pressured them into restricting the ebikes as there is no sensible way to police them currently.
Edit:
And while I've nothing against ebikes, having frequently been tailgated by one through my local 30mph speed limits, it's frankly stupid that they aren't required to be insured etc if you want to travel at such speeds
Check out Cube.
I paid £2.2k for the Reaction Pro hybrid - not full suspension but Bosch crank mounted motor.
Nice one - it’s definitely the best you can get in that price range.I've already bought a 2024 Cube Reaction Race 750, been out on it a few times now and it's brilliant.

Just got my Cube Reaction Hybrid 800. Only had a 5 min blast at lunchtime but loving it so far. I'd like to desrestrict it (I know, I know), and looking at this https://www.shop.bikespeed.de
I may hold off getting a chip, as Bosch are releasing new firmware in July which will unlock configurable torque (upto 100Nm) and an increase in power (upto 750W) for the Gen 5 CX.
How are you finding the bike, i'm receiving the Cube Reaction Race 800 today and very excited to try it out!So I ended up buying a chip from bikespeed.de. Fitted on my Bosch Gen 5 pretty easily (although it does require the motor to be unbolted). Really happy with it, just feels like the standard bike but without the 15.5mph limit. Speedo on the Purion 200 is wrong but is expected, and if you really want a display they sell their own version which shows the correct speed. I just use a GPS watch whilst riding anyway so I can get accurate speed and distance from that after a ride.
