Hey guys I am bowing down to your great collective knowledge
putting together a new system for my grandad and he uses clone dvd a LOT and wanted something that would do a movie faster then the 3 hours his old cpu is doing it in so I have put together a e6600 core 2 duo with a asrock mobo on board vga and 2gb of ram running vista its up and running nps with just clone dvd installed but when I try to backup a dvd for him its going to take 40-50 mins wheres my e6300 will do it in about 25-30 mins now bearing in mind both cpus are running at stocks values his should knock the snot out of my "baby core"
I have made sure that that the mobo thermal throttling is switched off and as far as I can see both pcs are setup as close as they can be. One thing I did notice is my cpu will use about 30% when running clone dvd but vista reports only about 6-10% on his now this can not be right surly?
so any one got any ideas
Cheers for any help
