New eBay resolutions

I only ever sell crap I dont need anymore which only sell for 2-10 quid, i have no confidence in selling items worth more than that.

Bleh might just bite the bullet and sell it on the MM instead. Problem is people on there know how much stuff is really worth so i doubt i'll get even half what it sells on ebay for. Better half than getting ripped off and get nothing though eh!

ebay have lost it, i used to sell absolutly loads of stuff on there and it worked fine, never had any real trouble and when i did it was just a inconvience relisting stuff, never actually lost money. Over the last couple of years they have done everything to help buyers and nothing for sellers, the fact that a seller can now never leave a neg feedback says it all!

Sometimes its worth getting a bit less, eBay has become a lot of hassle, paypal too have started randomly witholding payments for 21 days or until buyer leaves feedback. no feedback from buyer = no money for 21 days which I found ridiculous.

I find it retarded that in cases such as above sellers still cannot leave buyers negative feedback, bit of a one way system now from what I can see.

As for disputes is theyre even remotely dealt with by paypal each case will have a random scan for key words and the correct number of w/e word it is will decide who gets favour from the paypal dispute system.

eBay/paypal is a completely flawed system that screws only the fair traders and lets the scammers run a mock all because they can't be arsed to spend the money to govern it fairly.

There needs to be some competition that will force the system to be reviewed and improved to keep their traders. Currently they have people by the balls as there's no alternative and no insentive to improve.

Google checkout has been available for a while now, wasn't aware they were doing a version for paypal style use, I'd be willing to give that a go.

eBay seriously needs some decent competition :(
