Being bad is so much more fun, I hated that bint in the Megaton supply. Chirpy so-and-so got a shotgunning.

Only ever played one character, over 130 hours now (with save game backed up
), and I know what you mean about her!

Hopefully it'll be the same high quality game that Fallout 3 is. Damn I love that game, epic is the only word I'd use to describe it.

To be honest it doesn't do a great job of engrossing you in the first hour or so of play. The real fun begins when you can make choices of your own and do whatever the hell you like. In my opinion it starts getting good after you do a few Megaton quests.

What didn't you like about it?
not if you use good leveling and AI mods it is not
using **** adds 100s of new weapons to the game and rebalances the old
using mmmf adds 100s of new monsters into wasteland
i have about 150 mods on my fallout 3
this is great news about fallout 4 but i will wait till the modding community mod it first as its bound to be broken just like fallout 3 was.

Is it wrong that I am excited for the DLC too? As long as none of it is like Mothership Zeta and more of it is like Point Lookout!
it lacked something for me, maybe i anticipated more as i was fan of f1 and f2 since 1997.

I've just bought fo3 goty for the pc having given it around 100hrs playing through on the box. Can you recommend some good mods to apply before playing? New monsters and weopons sound good and I like the idea of the natrual mod mentioned in custom pc way back when.

Ah I haven't played the first two, I joined the series at Fallout 3 so maybe that has given me a different impression to it than older fans of the series have. Still, if this is similar to Fallout 3 then I'll be happy.
