new fan for akasa nero cooler

Hi

I have an Akasa Nero 3 cooler fitted to my CPU and when it is under load the fan is noticeably noisy!

I want to keep life simple and keep the heatsink and just replace the fan

Do you have to buy a fan specially made to be used with a CPU or will any quiet 120mm case fan do the job just as well?

I welcome your advice and suggestions for a replacement - thanks

One of theese should be a bit quieter at load.

4 pin PWM to connect to your cpu fan header. It will ramp up/down automatically according to cpu load/temp.

yes any 120mm mount size..
When I had a Nero v2 I used an Akasa Viper R 140mm in 120 mounts... did a fantastic job

Nero
