New Fiat Grande Punto

The residual agreed between Fiat and Glasses is actually higher than those for Renault Clios, Vauxhall Corsa, Toyota Yaris.,

Up by 10% compared to some.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, until the discounts kick in and the car falls behind book which always happens.

Seriously for the price of a new punto get a Fiesta ST from broadspeed for £10,700.

There are some pre reg grand punto 130 diesels around for 10k btw.

I love the design of the car, think it looks the amazing, especially in that bright darker blue colour, dont really like the interior though :/

For the price however...as suggested... Fiesta ST!

I would like to put money on you regretting this decision Andy.

I doubt I would be able to get a bookie to take my bet though- it's a dead cert.

EDIT- If you're paying £10-£12k so you can get to 60mph in 9.2s then I pity you.

My first car cost me £900 and was able to do exactly that. It was also able to accelerate without me touching the accelerator and had heated seats, amongst a few other things I am sure some of you are aware of by now.

Although I like the look of the cars exterior I wouldn't buy one. The interior does nothing for me and I currently have a Punto sporting as my commuter car. The battles I had with that (03 plate) to get some warranty work done has put me off Fiats for life. Although the car is dead comfortable for pottering to work in the build quality is suspect. I've seen the new ones are better but I'd like to see how reliable they are before being one of the first to buy. The old shape was cheap I got mine pre registered for £5500 which is throwaway money for a car with delivery miles. The new ones are not as cheap. But they do seem to be selling well.
