New five pound note

It's pretty cool that they have Winston Churchill on them at a time when nearly half of the country doubts our own ability to go it alone.
 
I got my first one tonight my thought.....

Don't like them at all, it feels to much like a credit card. :confused:

Am not impressed that's for sure.:rolleyes:
 
They should be doing more to get rid of physical money. It's a waste of resources to make it these days.

I spend physical cash twice a year because my dentist still hasn't got a card machine for some reason and I like going there so haven't changed dentists since I came to this country.

It alone? It took the combined efforts of many many countries...... if we
Were To Go it alone, we would all be speaking German.

It does fold, but once folded the crease doesn't come out, so over time they are going to look worse than normal notes. I got one today and it feels like a bit of discarded plastic packaging.

I had two earlier but none with one of those serials

Is there still a chance I could run in them? Unlikely as people would have snapped them up
