New fluid needed?

I have the following setup since Feb:

My PC is not on 24/7, it's probably on 3-4 times a week for a few hours.

The fluid looks fine. Should I be concerned about replacing it and/or flushing the system?

Depends, you say the fluid looks fine, it might be fine.

I usually change mine every 6 months to a year as i upgrade but some people change every 2 years. You should be alright, is the colour still the same etc?

if your temps are ok why would you need to replace?

Everything is fine, temps fine, no loss of fluid, blocks look clean. I just read a few pages that seem to suggest every 6 months to change it.

I have a 2600k, I was going to replace the fluid when I finally get round to replacing that whenever the new Intel chips come out.

you are suggested to change every 6 months BUT most people don't. A lot of the suggestions from manufacturers are there to cover their own arses. I think mayhem said they had a system running for over 2 years and only stopped because they needed to change something in the pc. Obviously the longer you run it the greater chance of dye buildup in the blocks etc and each system is different but mine has been running for over a year now and is fine (though being drained tomorrow to change the loop)

what fluid are you using. lots of ppl let system run your years before doing a flush and refill

I'm using Mayhems, it's a yellow one but doesn't appear on OcUK anymore after a quick look.

its fine for 2 years , just empty the fluid out at 12 months, give it a quick flush with di water and then filter the coolant though a coffee filter then put it back in your system. Job done

Dayum son, that yellow coolant looks super sweet. Definitely changing from white to yellow when the time comes (will match my MPower too)

Yeah it's pretty awesome mate, still looks good today. I'll be getting Mayhems again that's for sure, but maybe some different tubing (can't remember what I have now), as it's discoloring a little.
