New From Soft game - Duskbloods

It looks...interesting. I notice the trailer seems more low-budget and different in style to the Bloodborne/Elden Ring ones - a bit of cinematic and then basically a character demo - I don't really like that vibe.
So a bit skeptical, but at the same time I don't think From are capable of putting out a bad game, so we'll see!
 
They seem to be jumping on the coop/PvP band wagon, which is undoubtedly popular and an opportunity to bring a FromSoft title to a new audience using a different dynamic. I guess it is just an extension of the summoning mechanic that already exists in their games. So why not, more power to them.

Some will enjoy, others won't. I'm in the latter camp. I have no interest in multiplayer Elden Ring or Bloodborne. Just not my cup of tea personally.
 
Switch 2 exclusive killed it for me, I'll never buy another Nintendo console. PvEvP would have had an equally negative effect, I honestly find it the worst genre of gaming by a massive margin, the balance almost always seems to be considerably worse than purely PvP or PvE.

I love co-op, I don't have the time or interest in PvP anymore, hell I barely have time for lengthy single player or co-op stuff, I manage that sort of thing once or twice a year if I'm lucky.

Maybe I'm getting old.
