New Gaming build/rig

Drop the power supply a little, maybe to a G1 Sniper mobo and this one could work for the budget?
Heheheh. I am prepared to re-consider my budget if it means I could get a proper powerhouse rig for a few hundred more...

Would Windows 7/8.1 install OK on a 120 GB hdd i.e. is that enough space? Also, if I have Windows + essential stuff on the SSD and games/etc on the normal HDD, would that still be *faster* than just traditional HDDs?

Yes, this is what most people do.

OS and a few key games on the SSD, rest on HDD

That's it decided then :)

I think I'm going to go down the route of the GTX 780 instead of the AMD offerings - I just prefer Nvidia and feel like the switch after 6+ years of AMD/ATI offerings.

Was thinking on the 770 originally as I think it's "good enough", but **** it, right? It's only money! :D

Many thanks for all your help guys, OCUK forum coming through again! :D

unless going the evga classified or msi lightning route(i.e the best part of £100 more) the sapphire tri-x will eat the rest of the 780 offerings for breakfast ;)
