Hello all,

I'm looking to build my first gaming PC, but have no idea where to start. I have a keyboard and mouse but that's about it. Preferably I would like 2 monitors but this is not necessary.
Looking to play games such as: GTA, Fortnite, Rocket League and The Forest without resorting to minimal settings.

I have a budget of around £1200
Thanks for any help! :)

Thanks for the suggestion, I assume I would need to purchase Windows OS as well?

There are ways for a lot cheaper ! Buying a CD key for £20 odd and downloading windows 10 via media creation tool .

Could also go 1080p 144hz monitor if you want more fast pace gaming the .higher Resolution gaming.

They are about £200 for 144hz VA Freesync panel :)

Thanks again, I was also wondering if you could tell me the difference in performance between these two graphics cards:
- https://www.overclockers.co.uk/powe...ddr5-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-18l-pc.html

and whether there would be a noticeable difference in gameplay

There's a big jump in gaming performance .

Put it very loosely , RX580 is for 1080p 60fps high settings and Vega 56 is for 1440p 60fps High settings.

Both can reach higher the. 60fps though, that depends on the game but Vega 56 is suited to very high frames on 1080p or 1440p gaming .

If your worries about costs and want to get windows off here for £105.

Then drop to RX580, pick up MSI 1080p 144hz VA Freesync model for £200 and drop to Formula 550w - would save about £170 odd
