New gaming PC

So my friend is looking for a new gaming PC with a budget of £1.5K. He needs just the base computer (no monitor and peripherals etc.) His only requirements for the build is a 1TB SSD.

Suggestions welcome!

Hi - Yes definitely windows for the gaming (steam + origin etc.)

Resolution will be standard 1080P but he will update the monitor later on to something higher resolution so graphics card needs to be a beast for future proofing.

Thank you for the suggestions lads much appreciated.

My friend would like a 1080Ti to be included so with the builds suggested above can I make sure that the below card will be compatible with the motherboard etc.? It does not matter if it goes above budget to make sure that a Ti is included.

Hi lads - so my friend never got around to ordering his new build but is now in a position to push the button. Is there some better specs which he should use given its been 6 months since this thread was created. I think it would be good to chuck in a new monitor so he pretty much needs everything (except keyboard and mouse). Budget is between £1.5-2K.
