New Gaming PC

I want to build a gaming PC but im not sure which specs to go for and what to use.
I play WOW but still want to be able to play 1st person shooters and strategy games.
My budget is £900
This is my first post but i've seen others and you all seem really helpful

I want to be able to play Ark and Europa Unavirsallis 4 on high definition if possible. I don't really know what I need to play on high definition as I usually played with everything on low or disabled so I could have higher Fps (I rarely hit 30). My current monitor is too bad to use so I'm going to upgrade that but I'll get that outside of my budget. My current setup is a Lenovo H30 - 05 but it was a £300 prebuilt office tower so I don't know if I should upgrade as I might end up changing everything. Also it recently broke so I might add the ram from it on top of what I buy as I don't know what is broken and it might be the ram. I can also use the case to keep costs down if need be.
