** NEW GAMING RANGE OF LG MONITORS!! **

Pretty underwhelming monitors except for the 4k. But look at its bezel. You could use it as a chalk board to leave notes for yourself

Hmm, on the LG site for the 25" version (Link) it doesn't actually mention FreeSync or Adaptive sync only their own Dynamic Action Sync. Combined with the lack of any Displayport connectors do these monitors definitely support FreeSync?
I know AMD have demoed a proof of concept of Freesync working over HDMI but I don't think they've announced it actually being released and all their info on Freesync states that it is Displayport only.

the 29 incher looks tempting, but what sort of card/s would be needed to drive it, currently have 1 r390 at the moment, think it would struggle

I think a single 390 should still do pretty well at that res, maybe not maxed out everything but still very high settings and Freesync will smooth out any fluctuations.

Hi there

Right seems there is some confusion, the 25" and 29" do not have FREESYNC support due to only HDMI connections.

LG are confirming on the 34" and 4k model for me, LG have their own sync which has caused confusion which is in no way similar to Freesync or G-Sync. Manufacturers with their fancy marketing names causing so much confusion. :(

Yep confirmed, only DP models support Freesync, so 34" and 27" 4k have it, the 25" and 29" ones do not have Freesync

amazing prices!!! thanks LG for showing greedy companies like asus and acer that you can do gaming monitor for a fair price. now waiting for a g-sync monitors from you guys.

I think i'm going to treat myself to one of them for Christmas. The 29" one.

The only thing i'm a little concerned about is that the bases look a little flimsy. And i'm not sure i can go back to 60hz :(

I was using a 780 6GB which managed everything with ease, BF4 on high preset, everything on full/max/ultra on ED, Shadows of Mordor, GTA V etc without any trouble. When it died it got replaced with a 980 4GB which also runs fine. I'm sure your 390 will be fine.
