Both look pretty stunning and quite future proof for awhile at least.Would it be wise to self build with that amount of money or is it best to go pre built with the Titan 450i sabre as they're pretty close spec's and get piece of mind or if i spend some more and choose Envy im getting a rather good long lasting sexy looking pc?

Thanks in advance :)

You can make your rig look as sexy as the Envy quite easily. Some Bitfenix braided cable extensions and LEDs and you're sorted. Maybe some greener RAM.

You've got the wrong Sniper board, by the way. You want the ATX version, not the mATX.

EDIT: Build it yourself - it's fun :D And frustrating at times, but still. A self-build the price of that Envy would be pretty epic.

Hi, :).

Im going to be honest, I didn't even look at the pre builds. And ill tell you why....

The warranty. All the individual part cone with warranty anyway. The retail CPU has a 3 year warranty anyway, the other parts vary by manufacture but all have atleast a year. I know EVGA have some GPU's with a 10 year warranty. 10 years. :)

id change a few things with the spec. Firstly an matx board in an atx case isn't the best plan. You have two options, go with the sniper atx board or change the case to a 350D (matx case).

The cooler, I think the rad is too thick for both the ronin and 350d. It may fit the ronin okay. But you can get the H110 for the 350d (not the ronin though).

The rest of the selections are good though... :)

Thoughts?

Ah very good points on the warranty there fella, never occurred to me!

Thanks for the heads up on the mobo lol, still very new to this so bit daunting but very exciting. Would the braided cables be fairly simple to add?

EDIT: if i were to change to the 350D would i leave the mobo as is and just change cooler?

Thank you both very much, highly appreciated.

Yeah braided cables are easy to add, the alchemy ones are a doddle

You just basically unplug you're cables, attach one end of the braided cable to your PSU cable and the other to the componet you remove it from. Simple.. :)

Is size an issue for this build?

Ahh sweet brilliant :) no size isn't an issue, just getting my head round what parts fit in where.

Thanks you both once again :) making me feel ore relaxed about this self build :D

Its a matter of case choice really. The ronin is an atx case which will go perfectly with the sniper atx board.

The 350d and matx sniper are more expensive buy this gives you a smaller all round pc.

If size doesn't bother you the ronin and atx sniper may probably be better. Paired with a H100i would be perfect. :)

Look what i found in the testing forum:

:)

Looking very good..

Though you can get the OEM CPU for £20 less.. It only has a 1 year warranty but its not common for CPU's to fail, there normally DOA (dead on arrival) if they fail atall..
