New GPU for Gaming

Gonna purchase a GPU for Arma 2 and was wondering what one you would recommend outta the 3.

Grab the cheapest, no point paying £200 for a card when the speed differance will be next to nothing.

Well no personaly I would get a HD4890 but as the price differance is minimal now and the performance is almost identicle, it does't realy matter.

I would go for the "BFG GeForce GTX 275 OCX" Just look at the clock speeds =)

Don't forget that you get a life time warranty with the BFG personally i'd go for that, and as has been proved they have a first rate support/rma service.

go for the bfg, its far better clocks than the evga & it comes with 10 year warranty!

10 years, whats the point? I have 2xbfg 0c2 8800gt's in my system. I bought them 18 months ago, and shall be upgrading shortly. 2 years is pretty much the life span of a card for gaming IMO.

it really is a horrible coded game.

bugs galore and runs really crappy
was running really crappy when i tested the game with my 2x 4890s at 1000core.

i could feel the lag lol
