Hi there,
I bought a custom PC from Overclockers last year and decided to get a slightly better GPU from them two days ago. It isn't really relevant which one. I just about managed the install given it was my first ever, thanks to the technical support of Overclockers! However, I don't think I've managed the software side of things. I played Planet Zoo with zeal prior to getting my new graphics card, and while all the rest of my games now run at ultra settings where they were at medium before, Planet Zoo is running WORSE than before getting this graphics card. I have a feeling it's because it's using the onboard graphics card but I don't know how to make the PC use the dedicated one. Also when I tried to use my NVIDIA control panel to tweak stuff, its devoid of settings, with it only saying stuff about GPU performance counters. I haven't a clue what it's on about or how to get my settings page back. Is there anyone who could tell me what I've not done right please or what I could maybe do to fix things, pretty please? I just feel somethings not right. ANd yes, I know I should have probably paid someone more knowledgable to do this for me. It just looked so straightforward in the YouTube videos.....
