New GPU query

New GPU for 5760x1080

Hi guys.

My dilemma is the following.

I currently have two GTX 260's. As you know they are getting on a bit. I run a surround system at 5760x1080 and it struggles to run newer titles at good settings.

What do you recommend upgrading to ?

I have my eyes on an ATI 6950 and then later making it crossfire (purely because it can run 3 screens right off the bat).
EDIT: or is it worth SLI'ing some 460's ? (Personally I think the 6950 has more future value).

A 2gig 6950 would be perfect, as you say it can handle 3 screens from the off and the 2 gig VRAM would be beneficial at that res

2 3Gb 580's would be the best end setup but u would need to buy both straight away to be able to use surround and they cost quite a bit more than the 2Gb 6950's.
