A nice bundle there, If you do intend on upgrading, why not give the 7850 a look? It will serve you better in the long run. I know it is over budget but maybe wiser?

I only have around a £100 budget for a GPU, i know its not much but its all i can afford. Id like to get something decent to go nicely with a new bundle but im afraid i cannot splash out as much as i would like on a GPU

Ah didn't realise they updated the content, but not the image on the frontpage :(

But I've seen that 6850 on £10 off loads of times, on either daily or weekly deal...so if you don't need it in a hurry, you might still be able to get one at £90.

That is true, abit of a offtopic question sorry guys. But does anyone know the what time you have to place an order before for DPD next day delivery

Generally the cut off time is said to be 4pm, but I did have experience of not getting it delivered next day if I placed the order very close to 4pm. Best bet would be place your order between now and 2pm the latest, so it would actually give more time for OcUK to process the order instead of risk having them leaving it for next day.

I have another question guys, sorry for all the repeated annoyance. Ok so atm as you know i have a 250 GTS so when i goto install a ATI card how do i go about this (drivers etc)
 
Uninstall and then d/l and reinstall :)

Probably can just install over the top (Iknow this is possible with NVIDIA but not sure on AMD).

Assuming you are using Windows 7, you simply need to unstall the Nvidia drivers, shut down the PC and take the GTS250 out, replace with the 6850 and then once you are in Windows, you just install the AMD drivers. This is what I did when I upgrade from my 9800GTX+ (GTS250 before rebranding) to 5850. Don't use driver sweeper or whatever like some people suggest...I find that most people have more harm done than good when they use that in Windows 7 (as the program actually pre-date Windows 7).
 
Given your price constraints the 6850 is excellent and like others said a big step up and will do just fine for the next wee while. We can't all afford top of the range silly money GPUs (me included) so stick to your budget a get a good card in that range, and the 6850 isn't a bad choice.
 
good choice, but since u are going to have a i5 upgrade in dec, would us be more worthwhile paying a bit more for a slightly better card?

I just cannot afford a higher priced one at all or i would have gone for a better card, in the near future if i do ever have the spare cash ill happily buy another 6850 for crossfire
