New GPU?

Hi everyone.

My system is a few years old now. Still runs OK but could probably do with a bit of freshening up. I suspect the best plan would be to upgrade my GPU - would you agree, and if so, what would be a good option? Probably looking for something in the £100-£150 range.

Here are current specs:

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - OC to 3.4GHz
Asus GeForce GTX 480 1536MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
GeIL 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter
Akasa AK-CCX-4002HP Venom CPU Cooler
Antec 300 Three Hundred Case

Thanks for your help.

A mix of things really. Gaming, work, and I'm reasonably into photography (in that I shoot in RAW and do post-processing on the PC).

I don't currently have anything in my games collection that doesn't run reasonably right now (the newest graphics-heavy game I have is probably Bioshock Infinite, which seems to run happily enough) but I'm trying to stay a little ahead of the curve.

Perhaps I don't. I had a look at the upgrade possibilities this morning and I think I'd need to spend at least £200 to get something that would future-proof me for a few years. I may be better to wait.
