Hey guys. I said I was going to upgrade my GPU around July/August time, I've been waiting as I was hoping prices would be dropping, but I can't really wait much longer. How likely are prices going to drop soon? I was looking in the 1080 sort of range, as 1080TI's are still way too much..
Right now I am running with:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
ROG STRIX B350-F Gaming Motherboard
GeForce GTX 970
Vulcan T-force 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250gb
1TB SSHD
550 WATT PSU(can't remember the name right now)
I'm playing on a 144hz Monitor at 1080p. This is primarily for the new WoW expansion BFA, but I also play a lot of Battlefield and will be playing BF5, and plenty of other new releases.
My GPU load is often hitting 100% now and starting to get really hot, 80-90.
Understand that if I was to upgrade my GPU, i'd need a new PSU as well most likely.
Suggestions? Advice? Anything is really appreciated!
