Hi

Today I bought a new GTX 1650 from you guys, got it home and plugged it but the card isn't getting picked up by the mobo. The lights and the fans come on the GPU but that's it. Getting no signal from my monitors, can get into the system using onboard graphics and the Nvidia isn't showing up at all in the system. Tried different pci slot, different power cable etc even reinstalled windows. Can you guys suggest anything else I can try. I put my old gpu back in and it showed up straight away to the system

Thanks Simon

RMA Time methinks. PCI-e 3.0 should be backwards compatible with PCI-e 2.0 boards so I think the card is faulty.

Little update :
After returning to Overclockers (really helpful as usual :))I live in Stoke so not far :) they tested the card and it worked perfect on one of their systems. I thought maybe the nvidia wasn't going to work on my mobo so changed the card for an AMD. Got home and still the same problem, the mobo wouldn't detect the GPU (much more scratching of head). I stumbled over a post on the net about removing RAM and testing, so I removed one stick of ram and booted the system up and hey presto the mobo picked the new GPU up straight away and booted into windows np.
Strange one which I've never had before but the pc is back up and running at least :cool:
