Heya guys, moved from a HD4890 to a HD6950. No longer using vga, I'm using my HDMI port on the card / tv.

Problem is, my tv's resolution (1920x1200) is displayed as off the screen, 1920x1080 has a big black border around it.

Another thing I've noticed is the colours are completely off and too sharp, as if I'm running it in 16colours.

Anything I can do?

My tv is 42" rather than 40"

I can't find the "Just scan" setting for my tv and overscan in 1080p mode makes it cut a tiny amount off the side of the screen

unfortunately its a Technika (Tesco own brand)

Not sure of the exact model, it's running DVI-Vga again and its almost back to normal, only thing different from my old card is that text is slightly blury

Oh and I keep getting low memory errors when trying to run crysis on ultra with dx11, I have 4gb of ram and its giving me the warning when crysis is using about 1.2gb, any way around this without adding more ram in?

Mine are set 7-8-7-20 by XMP and were advertised as such when I bought them.

Played Rift with full everything including supersampling and confused more ram than crysis without issue

Yeah I have.

Playing Minecraft caused the same error to pop up, minecraft was using 800mb, crysis2 about 1.3gb and rift (which ran fine on full with supersampling) was 1.2gb.

Probably gunna get some new ram when funds allow.
