Ok I posted a while back about getting a new graphics card etc but have only just come into some money. I am using atm a hp pc with 6gb ram, i5 [email protected] processor and a gt220? i think graphics card. I have chosen a new case and psu http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-005-CM, but would now likw to know whats the best graphics card i can get without being bottlenecked due to my not great processing speed. £300 is my maximum budget on the card anything lower would be great, i just want to play games in max settings if thats possible with what ive got.
Thanks

That was suggested to me, but apparently I will need a new motherboard and because of that I will need to rebuy windows 7?

Also, if it is overclocked would i need further cooling of the processor as atm its only cooled with a fairly small fan, unless all of that and a gpu can be budgeted to 300 quid then i wont be able to do it really.

Thats what I got told on another thread like a couple of months back, they said because i bought a prebuilt system they would fit it with a terrible generic motherboard that cant be overclocked, If I dont need a new one fantastic the most i can get out of my system for less money the better! Thats why i posted this.

I might order the stuff tonight if I find out a few peoples opinions etc, cus I want to get this sorted asap.

Going to do a similar post in general hardware to see what people think I should do/get some replies.
